BY accident.

a-yo, Great Lord!

I know this is now three posts in a row for me, but I can't sleep and I don't want to study.

Shocking news: Robert Reich, Bill Clinton's Secretary of Labor and a friend of Obama, stated on his blog that we may seriously have to consider calling our current economic crisis a depression. He says:
"Today's employment report, showing that employers cut 533,000 jobs in November, 320,000 in October, and 403,000 in September -- for a total of over 1.2 million over the last three months -- begs the question of whether the meltdown we're experiencing should be called a Depression."

With tuition increasing and jobs becoming more and more hard to come by, I'm pretty much stressing out. But, on the bright side, as the great Doctor Behrend once told me: the best place to be right now is in school... and I suppose he may be right.

In other news: I know you mentioned buying rope lights for your dorm room, but how about this idea:
really cool I think... also this thing made from chtistmas lights is cute and I'm gonna make one:

Here's how.

another really sick thing is this tea bag coffin saucer designed by Jonas Trampedach (solving the where to put the tea bag dilemma for tea drinkers worldwide!):

potentially even cooler than the tea bag coffin are Head Hoods:

someday when I have children, they will have the head hood with a gorilla on it. yessssssssss.

In retrospect, I started this post by whining about the economy, but then listed things that I want to own... the great paradox of Materialist America in The Good Depression.
I'll end with this: How to Enjoy Life in a Bad Economy.

off to read geography,
Pure Foreigner.

ps. lets rent and watch a good movie sometime this week.

pps. accident: 1 a: an unforeseen and unplanned event or circumstance b: lack of intention or necessity : chance by accident rather than by design> xoxoxox.

  1. Speaking of paradoxes! A blog laden with webspeak, shortcuts, misspellings, and poor grammar, and YOU, Wall-e, have the AUDACITY to take up seconds of my precious life with your ON/BY ACCIDENT rubbish. Good post overall. Safe to say "taste-making"?
